n.
Leukemia characterized by the proliferation and enlargement of lymphoid tissue in various sites and by increased numbers of lymphocytic cells in the blood and in various tissues and organs. Also called lymphatic leukemia, lymphoid leukemia.

lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCM)
a disease of mice caused by an arenavirus and characterized by the occurrence of immunological tolerance and the subsequent development of an immune complex disease. The lesions caused by the immune reaction vary very widely and include meningeal and perivascular infiltration with lymphoid cells in many organs. There are several similar naturally occurring diseases.
