linea terminalis

a hypothetic line dividing the upper, or false, pelvis, from the lower, or true, pelvis.

lin·e·a ter·mi·na·lis

(lin'ē-ă tĕr-mi-nā'lis) [TA]
An oblique ridge on the inner surface of the ilium and continued on the pubis, which forms the lower boundary of the iliac fossa; it separates the true from the false pelvis.
Synonym(s): iliopectineal line, terminal line.

2. The portion of the pelvic brim that does not include the sacral promintory.
