leu·ko·e·ryth·ro·blas·to·sis

(lū'kō-ĕ-rith'rō-blas-tō'sis)
Any anemic condition resulting from space-occupying lesions in the bone marrow; the blood contains immature cells of the granulocytic series and nucleated red blood cells.
Synonym(s): myelophthisic anemia, myelopathic anemia, leucoerythroblastosis.

leucoerythroblastosis

A condition in which primitive blood cells of both the red and white series are present in the circulation. This indicates a major disturbance of the bone marrow blood forming function and is seen in ANAEMIA, bone marrow cancer and MYELOFIBROSIS.
