Compositions of the invention are nucleotide sequences encoding a signal peptide sequence for a yeast secreted protein, an optional leader peptide sequence for a yeast secreted protein, a native propeptide leader sequence for a mature protein of interest, and a sequence for the mature protein of interest, all operably linked to a yeast promoter.
The 3' leader sequence of NV-B is identical in length to those of all other paramyxoviruses and has nucleotide changes at positions 14 and 47 compared to NV-M.
They appear to be translated as inactive prepeptides containing an N-terminal leader sequence and a C-terminal propeptide component.
