An involuntary movement of the body or turning of the gait toward one side; seen principally with unilateral infarction of a cerebellar hemisphere or lateral medulla.

lateropulsion

(lăt″ĕr-ō-pŭl′shŭn) [L. lateralis, pert. to side, + pulsus, driving]
In cerebellar and labyrinthine disease, the involuntary tendency to fall to one side.
