labial bar
[lā′bē·əl]
a bar that is installed labially or buccally to the dental arch and connects bilateral parts of a mandibular removable partial denture.

n any one of several types of wires, bars, and splints conforming to the arch of the teeth and used for the treatment of fractures of the jaws and the stabilization of injured teeth (e.g.,

n an orthodontic appliance auxiliary consisting of a rigid metal wire extending from the buccal side of the molar band anteriorly.
