The test was carried out using a machine ("Isokai," M-produkter, Norsborg, Sweden) where an isodynamic movement was performed starting with straight, forward-inclined back, and bent knees.
Laboratory magnetic separators include the Magnetic Barrier Laboratory Model LB-1 and Isodynamic Separator Model L-l, which separate minerals according to magnetic susceptibility.
This is based on microscopic observations of the dark minerals separated from the sand with a Franz Isodynamic separator.
