An isoantigen that on exposure to its corresponding isoantibody causes agglutination of the red blood cells to which it is attached.

isoagglutinogen
[ī′sō·əglo̅o̅tin′əjən]
Etymology: Gk, isos + L, agglutinate, to glue; Gk, Geenen, to produce
an antigen that causes the agglutination of erythrocytes in others of the same species that carry a corresponding isoagglutinin in their serum. Also called isohemagglutinin. Compare agglutinin. See also ABO blood group.
