Sulfosuccinates, alkyl polyglucosides, betaines, sultaines, sarcosinates, isethionates, taurates, ethoxylated sorbitan esters and amino acid-based surfactants improve mildness.
The formulation is comprised of sodium lauroyl isethionate, a mild cleanser that reduces protein damage, and 100percent natural moisturizers, including stearic acid, soybean oil and glycerin, that fully absorb into skin to replenish lipids lost during cleansing.
These patients were treated with 1 or 2 courses of either 3 intravenous or 2 intramuscular injections of pentamidine isethionate (4 mg/kg on alternate days).
