ipratropium bromide

An anticholinergic bronchodilator used for bronchoconstriction associated with chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and emphysema. It is dispensed via a metered-dose inhaler or as a solution for nebulized use, and usually is combined with another bronchodilator such as albuterol. See: asthma
