one of the two sulci (anterior and posterior) that separate the two ventricles of the heart. The anterior intraventricular sulcus contains the anterior interventricular artery and the great cardiac vein. The posterior interventricular sulcus contains the posterior interventricular artery and the middle cardiac vein.
