Patients had no history of travel and were assumed to been infected in Morocco; all received free intralesional injections of meglumine antimoniate (Glucantime; Sanofi-Aventis, Bridgewater, NJ, USA) until total recovery, according to the protocol in the MMH leishrnaniasis control manual.
