Intracerebral hemorrhage
A cause of some strokes in which vessels within the brain begin bleeding. Mentioned in: Stroke
intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), a type of hemorrhagic stroke in which bleeding directly into the brain occurs. It is most often caused by hypertension and is associated with increased intracranial pressure. ICH usually occurs in the basal ganglia, thalamus, pons, and cerebral and cerebellar white matter.
