All patients had failed non-operative treatment, including at least one intra-articular steroid injection.
Patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain have been treated with intra-articular steroid injections and there has been some suggestions that pharmacotherapeutic interventions such as intra-articular Triamcinolone Acetonide reduce pain and increase passive movement.
