hepatoblastoma /hep·a·to·blas·to·ma/ (hep″ah-to-blas-to´mah) a malignant intrahepatic tumor consisting chiefly of embryonic tissue, occurring in infants and young children.

A malignant neoplasm occurring in young children, primarily in the liver, composed of tissue resembling embryonic hepatic epithelium.

hepatoblastoma
[hep′ətō′blastō′mə]
a cancer of the liver that tends to occur in children. It is usually detected during examination for causes of failing health and for the presence of a mass in the upper abdomen. Hepatoblastoma may be associated with precocious puberty.
