hemorrhagic pericarditis

Etymology: Gk, haima, blood, rhegnynei, to gush, peri, near, kardia, heart, itis, inflammation
inflammation of the pericardium accompanied by a bloody effusion. The condition is frequently caused by tuberculosis or a tumor.

hemorrhagic pericarditis

Pericarditis in which the exudate contains blood.
