hemoconia /he·mo·co·nia/ (-ko´ne-ah) pl. hemoco´niae [L.] small bodies exhibiting brownian movement, observed in blood platelets in darkfield microscopy of a wet film of blood.
hemoconia [he″mo-ko´ne-ah] (pl. hemoco´-�niae) (L.) minute colorless bodies found in blood, thought to be products of the disintegration of erythrocytes. Called also blood dust and hemokonia.
