The hem/onc needs to gather up these results and sort out a diagnosis. We are still unable to provide the rigorous TATs requested by the Hem/Onc Clinic physicians but are continuing in our improvement efforts. To meet the turnaround time (TAT) demands of the Hem/Onc Clinic, we began "pre-accessioning" those clinic samples into our laboratory information system (LIS) based on the clinic appointment schedule. |
