Patient discussion about health professional.

Q. I have been suffering from arthritis and it has affected my profession. Will Chinese medicine help me? I am a graphic designer and I am also a copywriter. I have been suffering from arthritis and this has affected my profession as I find it very difficult to operate the computer and keep my 8 hr job. I have been suffering from headaches also. I live in Hong Kong and I have tried all the allopathic medicines but none of them have worked to my satisfaction. I am contemplating going in for Chinese Medicine. Do you think this will help my situation?

A. it depends on what kind of chinese medication it is. if you're suffering from arthritis you can consult your problem with an internist who is specializing in arthritis issue, and some of useful medication will be :
- anti inflammation ( Cataflam 50mg)
- corticosteroids
- sulcolon tablet
- chondroitin soft capsule to improve the joint lubrication

Q. please let me know my role as a health care professional in caring for a child with autism. I am a health care professional not a specialist. So consider my situation and please let me know my role as a health care professional in caring for a child with autism.

A. If you can provide good nutrition that would be huge,
higly effective natural nutritionals include:

calcium/magnesium
kelp
cod liver oil
flax seed oil
raw apple cider vinegar

Also, avoid highly processed foods like white sugar, white flour, an high fructose corn syrup.

Q. What to do as this is interfering with my profession and my family? My sister is spinster and she keeps complaining of feeling dizzy when she wakes up and invariably says that she has constant headaches. Almost every day she feels so stiff that we have to help her out of bed. I do not know whether she feels helpless as she keeps saying that she feels anxious. Please tell me what to do as this is interfering with my profession and my family and my wife suspects her to be having fibromyalgia.

A. well....she is your sister. i understand that it is probably bothering but if you won't help her, who will?
i think the first stage is tom properly diagnose it. get a good Dr. and if it's really Fibromyalgia you can go on to the next stage - treating it right. Fibromyalgia may not have a cure but it sure has a treatment. with a treatment it might be easier on you to help her.
