Patient discussion about have got no idea.

Q. I have been suffering from back pain for the past two months. I have tried several treatments. Any ideas? I don't have a history of back pain. I started to experience pain in my shoulders, neck and upper back about two months ago. Prior to the condition I started to work out with a personal trainer, but I felt good for three months, so the doctor and I don't think there is a connection. I tried many types of massages, chiropractic treatment, and Acupunctures. I also went to an orthopedic MD. The doctor prescribed Arxocia for ten days and another round of Arxocia pills . I still have pain in my shoulders and neck. Any ideas what can I do. The doctor says it's nothing serious and that it's called upper back pain and that it will pass with time. Any ideas to ease the pain and treat this?

A. I was at working at a hospital and caught a patient. I had muscle strains and tears. The dr. said that would take 6-8 weeks to heal. After six weeks I still had severe intense pain in neck, shoulders, middle, upper back, and occasional tingling down my right arm. I went to a physical therapist whom tried to help me get through the pain. I was moving along quite nicely, when we decided it was time for me to start lifting weights and getting strenght nack again. My upper back pain sky rocketed! My right arm tinglin got worse, and would turn numb. It then turned blu and purple. I went back to dr. and I ended uo having thoracic outlet syndrome. I had a right rib resection to relieve this. I am 8 weeks post-op and doing great. I am in physical therapy again and have just started lifting weights. My upper back pain and neck pain are very minimal now. I did alot of research on thoracic outlet syndrome. Lots of men get it from body building. The muscles get so tight. you might have it.

Q. Can anybody help me by giving some ideas that how to treat Fibromyalgia? I trust my doctor too. I am Devontae 25 years old. Few months back I had muscular pain and after taking medicines I felt better, but now again the pain started which made me to consult a doctor few days back and he said that I have Fibromyalgia. So can anybody help me by giving some ideas that how to treat Fibromyalgia? I trust my doctor too.

A. The medications help, I take tramadol and cataflam b/c I can't take Lyrica. I walk a little everyday and I have learned to deal with my limitations...on good days I do what I can and on "fibro" days(bad days)
I try to rest and do what I can without making myself hurt worse. I have balance problems, pain and chronic fatigue but I accept what i can and can not do. That was very hard for me but accepting it has made my life less stressful which in turn helps me deal better and feel better. When I stress my body reacts and it isn't nice! I can't handle temp changes very well so I have learned to adapt to that. Warm baths, resting durning the day, little things that i have learned helps. We all seem to have times we feel better and times we feel rock bottom \, know this is a part of it and learn to adjust. I beleive fibromyalgia is a "learning" experience and you have to do A LOt of trail and error!
Support, a positive attitude and my faith have helped me along with

Q. Why is it such a bad idea to take drugs For the past two months I am not peaceful at home. My parents always advice and irritates me to avoid drugs. Why is it such a bad idea to take drugs? Why they behave like this?

A. I absolutely agree with what mrfoot and lixurion answered.
Drugs will just drag you straightly to hell, again directly to hell. Why do I say that? Because drugs will only give you short-term-temporary relief feeling of your problems, and actually it DOESN'T solve it at all!

Once you start using drugs, you're starting a step-by-step-closer-to-death, because it then makes you craved for that, addicted to it, then you will just do ANYTHING to get those bad drugs (usually young people then are starting to do criminals to get their needs in drugs), and don't forget, the most important thing is : you start RUINING your future, your body, your soul, your brain, your everything, and it is really hard to be cured.

So I encourage you, abrham, to find a positive-energy-releasing-activities, to help you cope your not-peaceful-at-home feeling
