Headteacher Michael Ironmonger, pictured, disappeared after leaving his home in Harmol Grove, Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, to drive to Norton Thorpe Hall School, in Busker Lane, Scissett, near Huddersfield, West Yo r k s h r e Mr Ironmonger's wife Lesley, 43, yesterday appealed for her 46-year-old husband to get in touch and let her and his two daughters, aged 11 and 15, know he is safe.
