(hand′rīt″ing)
1. The writing of letters, numbers, words, or symbols with a handheld pen or pencil.
2. Penmanship. Flawed penmanship is characteristic of several childhood learning disorders and of some adult illnesses, such as the micrographia of Parkinson's disease.
