'Gooseneck' describes the distorted left ventricular outflow tract seen by selective left ventriculography in Pts with partial AV canal defects–ostium primum and common AV valve, where the failure of the endocardial cushions to fuse produces an abnormally low AV valve with an abnormally high anterior position of the aortic valve 2.
