chrysiasis [krəsī′əsis] Etymology: Gk, chrysos, gold, osis, condition an abnormal condition that may develop after gold therapy, characterized by the deposition of gold in body tissues. Also called auriasis. chrysiasis deposition of gold in living tissue.
chrysiasis A deposition of gold in tissues, especially the cornea and conjunctiva and the lens leading to cataract.
