Patient discussion about giving set.

Q. It hurt her for some weeks and slowly she found a lump growing. Can anyone give information……………… Mom always advises me to be careful with the breast as severe hitting may lead to breast cancer. I never took it seriously till yesterday when one of my close relative was diagnosed with breast cancer and the reason was a strong hit on her left breast (the one that is now diagnosed). It hurt her for some weeks and slowly she found a lump growing. Can anyone give information………………

A. Ya…some of breast cancer are found with this condition. But there is no proof to support this statement. It is being felt that fat necrosis may be the reason. Any injury to breast causes them and they form fatty lumps. If you go to the gene level disturbance to have cancer with this condition; then it may be a possibility that the injured area gets exposed to the free radicals and makes the gene machinery error prone, which later on forms a hard lump and then cancer.
