gangliocytoma
[gang′glē·ō′sītō′mə]
a benign tumor involving ganglion cells. These tumors are frequently found in the pituitary gland, where they are associated with hypersecretion of growth hormone-releasing hormone (ganglioneuroma).

ganglioneuroma [gang″gle-o-nu-ro´mah]
a benign neoplasm composed of nerve fibers and mature ganglion cells; called also gangliocytoma, ganglioglioneuroma, and ganglioma.
