fructosuria /fruc·to·su·ria/ (frook″to-su´re-ah) the presence of fructose in the urine.
essential fructosuria  a benign hereditary disorder of carbohydrate metabolism due to a defect in fructokinase and manifested only by fructose in the blood and urine.

presence of the sugar fructose in the urine. This usually harmless and asymptomatic condition is caused by the hereditary absence of the enzyme fructokinase, which normally assists fructose metabolism. Essential fructosuria is associated with symptoms of diabetes mellitus. Also called levulosuria.
