a slight depression in the limiting sulcus (sulcus limitans [TA]) on either side of the rhomboidal fossa, above the medullary striae and lateral to the facial colliculus.

superior fovea

A small notch in the sulcus limitans in the fourth ventricle of the brain, located at the rostral end of the striae medullares.
