The four Hs stand for head, heart, hands and health and are represented by the four-leaf clover.
Jamaica didn't achieve independence until 1962 and was still a British colony when Frank, his brother, Ken, and two other trade union leaders, Richard Hart and Arthur Henry - together they were known as The Four Hs - were put in a British army camp in November, 1942, on the orders of the then governor of Jamaica, Arthur Richards.
