indications This drug is used in combination with other antiretrovirals to treat HIV-1 infection.
contraindications Known hypersensitivity to protease inhibitors prohibits the use of this drug.
adverse effects Adverse effects of this drug include rash, pruritus, headache, fatigue, depression, oral paresthesia, and redistribution or accumulation of body fat. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
