the plane of the left hepatic vein that corresponds superficially to the planes of the left sagittal fissure and the attachment of the falciform ligament, and separates the left medial and lateral divisions of the left (part of the) liver.

umbilical fissure

a groove on the inferior surface of the liver that holds the round ligament and separates the right and left lobes of the liver.

umbilical fissure

The anterior portion of the longitudinal fissure of the liver. It contains the round ligament, the obliterated umbilical vein.
