Byline: Evan Henerson Staff Writer While so many prenatal tests are designed to reach a diagnosis or lead doctors to conduct additional tests, the aim of the fetal fibronectin test (fFN) is to determine which patients are not likely to have a preterm delivery.
Pregnant women taking part will be given the fetal fibronectin test - a vaginal swab similar to a cervical smear - at 24 weeks and 27 weeks.
The Company is raising its 2007 revenue guidance from $690 to $710 million to $735 to $760 million to reflect estimated revenue from the sales of FullTerm([R]), The Fetal Fibronectin Test.
