ferrous sulphate

A bitter, greenish crystalline compound of iron used in the treatment of iron deficiency ANAEMIA. Brand names are Ferrograd and Slow-Fe. The drug is also formulated in conjunction with FOLIC ACID under the brand names Ferrograd Folic, Fefol and Slow-Fe Folic.
