feminizing syndrome

recognized rarely and usually in dogs. Some cases caused by Sertoli cell tumor of a testicle. Manifested by attractiveness to other males, symmetrical alopecia, atrophy of the penis and unaffected testis, mammary enlargement, swelling of the prepuce and prostate, and lack of libido. Other cases are idiopathic.
