indications It is prescribed for palliative treatment of metastatic or progressive carcinoma of the prostate.
contraindications Thromboembolytic disorders or known hypersensitivity to this drug prohibits its use.
adverse effects The most serious adverse effects are cerebrovascular insult, myocardial infarction, thrombophlebitis, pulmonary emboli, and congestive heart failure.
