erosive stomatitis

a disease of the mouth characterized by the presence of discrete, superficial ulcers or erosions of the mucosal surface, as in bovine mucosal disease, rinderpest and mucosal disease of cattle. Secondary ulcerative stomatitis is common.

recorded in Africa. Similar to and may be identical with bovine papular stomatitis.
