wobbler syndrome incoordination in horses and dogs. canine wobbler syndrome compression of the cervical spinal cord caused by caudal cervical vertebral malformation-malarticulation or instability. Seen most commonly in large and giant breed dogs, particularly Great Danes and Dobermans. Affected dogs show an ataxia of the hindlimbs and occasionally the forelimbs.
