A document generated by the Criminal Records Bureau in the UK which checks for convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings in England and Wales held on the Police National Computer. Enhanced disclosure is required for posts involving significant contact with children or vulnerable adults, including regularly caring for, supervising, training or being in sole charge of such people. People needing enhanced CRB checks include teachers, scout or guide leaders, paediatricians and geriatricians.
