1 (in chemistry) the point at which the condition of equivalence is reached during a titration. This may be indicated by reaching a maximum value in the slope of a titration curve, for example.
2 the point or time at which an activity is finished.
3 the point at which a chemical indicator changes color, for example, in an acid-base titration.
