end-bulb (-bulb) a sensory nerve ending characterized by a fibrous capsule of varying thickness that is continuous with the endoneurium.
end-bulb [end´bulb] one of the small encapsulated bodies at the end of sensory nerve fibers in skin, mucous membranes, muscles, and other areas. Called also Krause's bulb or corpuscle.
