a solution or substance that results from an elution process. In column chromatography the eluate is collected as it drips from the column.

PCBs and pesticides were fractionated into two eluates using 5 g silica gel-packed glass columns (10.
Each of the 4 samples was concentrated by using a conventional filter adsorption-elution method (10), and the resulting eluates were reconcentrated by ultrafiltration.
The eluates were dried and loaded onto rhenium filaments with a phosphoric acid and silica gel ionization enhancer.
