Despite these advances, the experimental visualization of pores created by most electroporating procedures-submicroscopic and short lived-has not yet been possible. Electroporating the subunits of Na1/K1 ATPase into the lungs of mice protected against endotoxin-induced lung injury and improved preexisting pulmonary edema (31). The CX1 systems utilize a single-channel electroporation head, while Cellectricon's CX3 System is capable of electroporating three separate wells in a 96-well plate in parallel or simultaneously electroporating three discrete regions in the dish. |
