dysadrenia [dis′adrē′nē·ə] Etymology: Gk, dys, bad; L, ad, to, ren, kidney abnormal adrenal function characterized by decreased hormone production, as in hypoadrenalism or hypoadrenocorticism, or by increased secretion of the products of the gland, as in hyperadrenalism or hyperadrenocorticism.
