DUSP12

A gene on chromosome 1q21-q22 that encodes dual-specificity phosphatase 12, a ubiquitous enzymes that downregulates members of the MAP kinase superfamily (e.g., MAPK/ERK, SAPK/JNK and p38 MAP kinases). It is highly expressed in the spleen, testes, ovaries and peripheral leukocytes.
