A syndrome that is caused by a compressive radiculopathy from intervertebral disk pressure and combines symptoms of lower back pain, pain in the thigh, and sciatica with wasting and loss of achilles and patellar reflexes.

Part 2, "Low Back Syndromes," groups the low back syndromes under the following categories: disk syndromes, stenotic syndromes, posterior joint syndromes, myofascial pain syndromes, and nonspecific and chronic low back syndromes.
I would like to suggest that the authors examine the work of Robin McKenzie, because they ignored the concept of extension for lumbar disk syndrome.
