Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE) is an effective, economical amine catalyst for flexible and rigid PUR foams.
Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE), a competitive inhibitor of choline transport, elicited dysmorphology beginning at the mid-blastula stage, with anomalies beginning progressively later as the concentration of DMAE was lowered.
For instance, one supplement marketed for treating attention-deficit disorder in children contains dimethylaminoethanol bitartrate, a drug developed in the 1950s and sold as a prescription until the FDA forced it off the market in 1983 because it didn't work.
