diet, living foods, n a dietary system that recommends fermented and fresh vegetables, wheatgrass juice, sprouted seeds, and fruits. Raw cheese or milk is permitted occasionally. Advocates also produce their own “seed cheese” or “seed milk” by grinding soaked nuts or rice. The reasoning primarily originates from the thought that cooking destroys several enzymes that are necessary for assimilation of nutrients and proper digestion. The system was developed by Ann Wigmore of the Hippocrates Institute in Boston. How to thank TFD for its existence?
