Dicrocoelium /Dic·ro·coe·li·um/ (dik″ro-sēl´e-um) a genus of flukes, including D. dendri´ticum, which has been found in human biliary passages.
Dicrocoelium [dik″ro-se´le-um]
a genus of flukes. D. dendri´ticum is a liver fluke parasitic in domestic animals and occasionally humans.

Dicrocoelium
a genus of flukes (digenetic trematodes) in the family Dicrocoeliidae.

Dicrocoelium dendriticum (syn. Dicrocoelium lanceolatum)
a liver fluke that infects most domestic and many wild animals and has been reported in humans. Heavy infestation causes cirrhosis and biliary obstruction and a clinical syndrome of edema, anemia and emaciation.
Dicrocoelium hospes
occurs in the bile ducts of cattle in Africa.
