A chronic eruption of fibrous papules that develop at the site of follicular lesions, usually on the back of the neck at the hairline.
Synonym(s): dermatitis papillaris capillitii, folliculitis keloidalis.

dermatitis papillaris capillitii

Formation on the scalp and neck of papules interspersed with pustules. The rash ultimately produces scarlike elevations resembling keloids.
