Q. Is the diagnosis correct? I have been diagnosed bipolar and was previously diagnosed with depression and ADHD how I know the diagnosis is correct this time?

A. Check out the DSM-IV which is the manual used by mental health professionals to determine these things. Also, there is no other reason why all the diagnosis couldn't be correct. If you are a bi-polar, then you are depressed by definition. ‘ADHD’ is a separate category. I hope you get some help, whatever the correct diagnosis is.

Q. Could anyone with similar experiences help me out with a remedy? My teeth bleeds every morning when I brush. I have changed my toothpaste to good quality 10 days before, yet the bleeding continues but I never had pain, so I didn’t visit dentist. But this bleeding does not seem to stop and keeps me depressed and confused. Could anyone with similar experiences help me out with a remedy?

A. You may have gum disease and may need your teeth cleaned. A dentist can advise on this.

There are various toothpastes that contain baking soda and peroxide which can help.

A home cure recommended by a periodontist is to mix a little baking soda and hydrogen peroxide solution in a small cup and use one of those rubber tipped tooth gum massagers between all your teeth on both the tongue side and cheek side. This stimulates the gum tissue and kills bacteria in the pockets. You can brush with this too. It works. Of course flossing every day is essential.

Q. Is this is a correct diagnosis for fibromyalgia? My aunt who is 39 years old, is recently diagnosed for fibromyalgia. It brought an overwhelming feeling of relief, together with a deep sense of pain as after 7 years she is accurately diagnosed for fibromyalgia. Her diagnosis was not an easy one. She has been diagnosed for other disorder like arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, and hypothyroidism and now with fibromyalgia. Doctors say this is the final diagnosis with complete confirmation, which brings happiness to all of us. Even though I doubt that should we believe that this is a correct diagnosis for fibromyalgia?
